Hello....
Sorry I haven't blogged for awhile.
I have been stricken with Tendonitis in my elbows...otherwise known as *gasp* Knitting Elbow! So painful that I had to stop knitting.
Projects are just laying there in a heap as the clock ticks on. I even went on vacation without a knitting project. sigh... On vacation I even turned down visiting an ultra cool Yarn Store "String Theory Hand Dyed yarn" in Blue Hill, ME because I just could look at the yarn knowing I couldn't knit it up. It was like twisting the knife.
In the mean time I have been reading "real" books, working a puzzle, playing on my new MacBook Pro computer... and feeling a little bored... I really really really miss knitting.
While I haven't been knitting I did take a wonderful vacation to the East Coast. Visiting Boston and Maine. I took in a RedSox game, a Sounders FC away game, Ride the Ducks Boston tour, Boston Museum of Science Planetarium, the JFK Museum & Library and then while in Maine staying with one of my BFF's we just hung out a relaxed. I got to see FireFlies for the first time in my life and it was AMAZING. We ate lots of Lobster and visited Fort Knox, ME and the Penobscot Narrows Observatory where we rode an elevator 430 feet up and witnessed an amazing view. We walked in and around the Fort. We watched Hometown Fourth of July Celebrations and fireworks. It was a busy trip and we did so much... I came back having had the best vacation I have had in a long time. I came home very relaxed.
Next up on the travel agenda will be Phoenix to see Meg and Josh. I really miss her and I haven't seen her since Thanksgiving. I can't believe the time has gone by so fast.... I'm looking forward to all the trouble we're going to get in.... ;)
