so... I have ripped out the entire sock. SIGH.
I love the pattern but I didn't notice that I was using the wrong size needles until the sock was starting to look ginormous. Plus the pattern has a mistake in the "Modified" heel flap pattern.
On Friday at lunch I decided that it just wasn't working and I needed to rip out out and start again. I will also use the REAL "Eye of the Partridge" heel flap pattern in place of the one that is in the pattern.
I am getting ready to start this again.
