So... I was knitting a mitten for a gift. I finished the first mitten in record time. All was going so well.... until to my dismay today when I had finished the entire cable pattern I realized I forgot to add the hole for the thumb! ARGH... so I sat there at the lunch table and ripped it all the way back to the cuff. But now I am ready to begin again and luckily I had all my stitches and didn't loose any....
and so it begins...again...

OMG!!! I promise not to laugh until I leave your blog... I had to rip out about 8 inches of a vest a while back because I forgot to start the steek column in the center of the front.
